Genaral Grant

                  Genaral Grant was born April 27, 1822 in Point Pleasant, Ohio, and died July 23,1885. Genaral Grant was a republican.  Grant was the genaral in chief of the Union forces in the U.S. Civil War. Grant was a hero in the North for his victories in key  battles during the war. Four years after the war ended, Grant was elected president and served for two terms.Genaral Grant's actual name is Hiram Ulysses Grant.
