Ponce de Leon

Ponce de Leon was born in Hispaniola in the 1500's. Ponce de Leon explored for the spainish. He sailed with Christopher Columbus, and helped him take over Puerto Rico. After that he went on another voyage searching for land, riches, and fame. While he was searching, he also was looking for the Fountain of Youth .Instead of finding The Fountian Of Youth he discovered Florida. Florida means " Season of Flowers". His whole entire voyage consisted of traveling from Hispaniola to Puerto Rico to discovering and taking over Florida and finally settling in Havana.
